#67 Christine and VirginiaLeesa’s Story

I tweeted Prime Minister Tony Abbots’ sister, a keen activist for LGBTI rights, Christine Forster, to ask if she would like to support the In Bed Project. She replied, “Happy to!”

And off they went to the Op-shop to find their wonderful dressing gowns.

Without the ongoing support of “ordinary” people, this project and its important message would not be heard.

Christine and Virginia’s Story

Virginia and I have been engaged for two years. We are waiting, not necessarily patiently, for the time when we can get married in Sydney, among our family and friends.

We are ordinary Australians with ordinary aspirations.

All love is equal. It’s time for change.
