Ad’m (& Venus) – I don’t need to reiterate all the reasons why Marriage Equality needs to be established in this country. The points have been made. The image of an actual person communicates so much more than data.

I am currently single, and the prospect of marriage isn’t something I’ve given much thought, but I don’t need to be in love or engaged to realise there is immeasurable value in the joining of two lives. I know of this value from my Mum and Dad who have been married for over thirty years.

Coming out and growing up gay in the 90s was nothing like what it is like today. Complacency isn’t appropriate either. Love can be a weapon.
