#111 Kristy, Nicole and Emily

After ending my partnership (and marriage) of 14 years to my now ex-husband, I met and fell in love with the girl next door (literally!) We were neighbours during the course of 4 months when Nic moved into her home with her then partner. It was love at first sight.

Now, 7 years later, together we raise my 15-year-old daughter who Nic considers her own child. We have bought a home together and live like any other committed couple raising a family.

We face the same challenges as any blended family, but somehow, we make it work. We are an amazing family unit; Strong, happy, committed and most importantly…. proud of who we are.
