#23 Miriam, Elise and Ari

We are a small family of three. Our beautiful daughter Ari is the light of our lives. Ellie and I met just one week after she was conceived, Ellie decided to take on the challenge of pregnant me and 9 months later, Ari!

We recently got engaged as we wanted to show our commitment to each other but now feel the need to wait until marriage is legal for same sex couples so we have access to the legal implications of this institution.

What right does anyone have to judge one person’s love for another? We cannot wait until we can share the last name, call each other ‘wife’, and celebrate our love for each other in front of the people that we love. We look forward to the days when marriage equality rallies become history.
