#35 Laura-Jade, Liz and Family

I share my bed with my partner Liz. Our bed becomes fuller each morning when our three beautiful children climb in. We truly learnt the meaning of ‘love makes a family’ when we were given the gift of motherhood.

We are your average family, three kids, a dog, a house in the trees, we dance in the kitchen and make pancakes on Sunday mornings, we are at the auskick oval supporting our son on a Friday, netball on a Saturday and then circus training after that. We are a loving beautiful family. I’m proud and I want that to be seen. Then maybe it will be better understood.

Our children deserve to grow up in a family, home, and world where love is cherished, respected and free for all. They deserve to see their parents get married and experience the stability it offers and joy it brings to the family.
