#85 Pieta and Matilda

My story is simple; I don’t understand restricting marriage between two consenting and committed adults simply because they may be of the same sex.

As a Mum I hope that my daughter grows up knowing she has the opportunity to marry whomever she falls in love with. As a Mum I hope that when Matilda is an adult, this very fight for marriage equality is all but a memory of a time long long ago.
