#60 Lakshal and Kristen

I met Lucky and Kristen a couple of years ago at a “be nice” workshop they were running.

Lakshal Perera is one of Melbourne’s top wedding photographers and along with his beautiful wife Kristen, were hosting a workshop to introduce the concept that it’s possible to be a rock star wedding photographer and “be nice” too.

I was instantly attracted to their humanity and generosity. 

Lucky and Kristen’s Story:

Quite simply, if the two of us have the right to get married, then you and any other consenting adult should have exactly the same right too – it’s not that hard a thing to realise.

The fact that this choice is denied from couples simply because they don’t love someone of the opposite sex is nothing but a hypocritical and outdated injustice.
